How to Conduct a Reverse Email Lookup

Many times you will come across emails in your inbox whose origin only the sender knows. You are therefore left wondering what step to take in a bid to try and uncover the identity of the sender. There is such a process, and it is referred to as a reverse email search. Through this process you will be able to uncover someone's email address. If the sender is the crooked type, the type which will conceal their identity, then uncovering their IP address is the next option. There is however a process involved.
You should first try to find out which email provider the sender of the email originated from. If you realize that it is yahoo, then use Yahoo people finder. If it fails to work, you can opt for the world email directory, where you will find a name for an emailing list. If someone has hidden their name, finding their IP address is easy since it cannot be hidden. This you will achieve by locating the full email header and then pasting it into the IP trace website resource box. Note that anything done on the internet is traceable, as is evidenced by an email header, as it is used in an email reverse lookup.
The email header will help you conduct a reverse email lookup, as it is the one which contains all the information. This will vary from what provider you are using. If it is Yahoo, you will only have to click on the email whose identity you want revealed and then find the 'show full header' button on the email's lower right hand side. Copy all the information on an IP tracer and then wait for results. For the Hotmail users, this will be made available through right clicking on the email and then choosing view source. Copy and paste on the tracer. Other versions have instructions as to how to conduct an email reverse lookup.
